It's Spring Break! For some it's a time to get caught up on schoolwork, sleep and home-cooked meals, but for others (like myself) they take this opportunity to do a little bit of traveling. Now, the collage below isn't exactly based off of my plans, but that doesn't mean they will be any less fun! I also picked these pictures more or less because I thought they were pretty.
So, for MY March Break my best friends and I took a little road trip to each other's hometowns! It was tons of fun full of drinking, shopping and sight seeing. Starting with the train in Moncton, NB we (Jenn and I) rode into Halifax, NS to meet our friend Megan and hit the casino.
Megan was the lucky one of the night and won over $300 just on the slot machines! Wha??? We were very proud of her, so proud in fact that we later decided to put the money in the hotel bathtub and roll around in it. It was very satisfying.
We did a little bit of shopping the next day on Spring Garden. Our favourite store was The Black Market. There are so many awesome things in there with crazy patterns, every type of jewelry, handmade clothes and bags and bohemian decor. Needless to say, we spent a good portion of our money here.
The next day we were off to Halls Harbor, located in the valley of NS. Here we stayed at Megan's house. Later we discovered all of the cool knick knacks that made up the contents of her house, soooo of course we seized the opportunity to have a little photo shoot. These were only a portion of the results:
Next we were off to Bridgetown, NS (my hometown) and through to Sussex, NB. In Sussex we met up with tons of friends from school who were doing pretty much the same thing we were. We all went out to The Thirsty Mule (a fitting name) and drank until the wee hours of the morning. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of any of these cool things, HOWEVER I did get some random ones of the McDonalds, a pretty window seat and nail polish. A good second place if you ask me.
Thus ended our epic journey around the Maritimes.
The end.
X
Sarah
