Pump Up Your Wardrobe

Bored? Lacking interest in your wardrobe lately? Wellllllll......don't I have a solution for YOU! Something I find really fun when I'm bored is to go through my closet. Now, this blog is all about being cheep so I don't mean go out and by all new clothes. Take a look at your closet. What haven't you worn in a while? Pair it up with something you never thought it would look good with. No matter how many clothes I have I always end up finding a new outfit or new crazy style. I know some of you may not be adventurous when it comes to wearing new clothes butttttt, if you are willing to try out a new style this is a great way to do it, PLUS you have the comfort of wearing your old clothes. Trust me it will seem weird for the first couple of new outfits but soon it will become the norm and then you will be looking for even more new and exciting ways to spice up your wardrobe!

This is what happened when I went scrounging around my closet...

Dollarama!

The Dollarama is my best friend. Almost all of my things are from this store and it never steers me wrong. Now, don't worry because it's not the tacky stuff that actually looks like you only paid a dollar for it. At the beginning of the year I found some awesome wall stickers for my room. I picked the tulips and put them on either side of my window. It adds such a nice touch to the room and really gives it a summery feel in the cool winter days.

Fake flowers are also a girls best friend. They stay beautiful and require no taking care of. Trust me, there is no shame in having a couple really nice fake flowers! There are actually some great vases I found there too, which surprisingly look pretty expensive. The one that I picked out looks as if its made from wood with a nice natural design. How Perfect!

Another great find from the dollar store would be their boxes and containers. They are great! Even though some of them may not have the best designs on them, there is always paint! One great idea for your box is if you have some time to kill, collage it with magazine strips. I know it may sound a little elementary school, but with a clean black background and clean cut strips, it actually turns out to look pretty cool.

Cheap Designs Ideas for Your Room!

MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE

One great way to spice up your room and get in touch with your green thumb, is to  follow these great easy steps

1) Buy one of those awesome Arizona Tea glass bottles with the great designs on them. They are only around $1.00 Canadian, so even if you don't really like the drink, then you shouldn't feel bad just dumping it! If you can't bear to waste the sweet tea, then any other type of glass bottle will do. (You could even paint your own cool designs on it!)

2) Find some nice nourished soil and a flower that does well in either sunlight or shade. You can get this flower from a garden or store (keeping cheap in mind, of course!) and place it in your bottle.

3) Continue with normal care taking of your flower, such as watering and sunlight, and you will have a wonderful and cheap flower for your room :)

If you don't want to go through the hassle of taking care of a plant, fake flowers look just as good!
